About Suarez Society

This forum serves all scholars in the field of late medieval and early modern school philosophy. It provides the first step in creating an international scholarly society named after the most renowned and influential figure of this tradition,

Francisco Suárez.

All serious academics and researchers in the field are welcome to apply for registration and then post announcements, share ideas, papers, references and web links as well as make primary texts more accessible.

Registration is open to academics, independent researchers as well as post-graduate students in the field. In order to avoid possible abuse or misuse of the forum, we ask independent researchers not affiliated to any official institution to be recommended by a person registered in this forum. Post-graduate students need recommendation from someone in the field of more advanced standing (e.g. some academic or a person already registered). Recommendations are to be sent by e-mail to the editor.

These pages are sponsored by the Institute of Philosophy, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague, Czech Republic. It is the project of the Research group for post-medieval scholasticism.
